Panelists Announced for PinkMission Summit: Advocates, Experts, and Inspirational Voices Unite

Philadelphia, Pa – The MQFactory PinkMission Summit is a free, arts-based community event and awareness in the fight against breast cancer, is proud to introduce an extraordinary lineup of speakers who will inspire and empower attendees with their wealth of knowledge and deep commitment to women’s healthDr. Renée L. Quarterman, an award-winning breast surgeon and founder of Delaware Breast Care, brings over 16 years of expertise to the panel. Her extensive experience includes leadership roles as Medical Director at various breast centers, overseeing all aspects of breast health from imaging to cancer diagnosis and care coordination.Dr. Nia Imani Bailey, a multi-talented advocate, filmmaker, and Radiation Therapist, is dedicated to reforming the healthcare system and educating communities about breast cancer awareness and resources. Her documentary, “A Letter to My Sisters,” provides invaluable insight into the journey of young women facing breast cancer diagnoses.Nicolle D. Surratte, Chief Inspiration Officer of NspireD and holistic health coach, guides women towards transformational health changes. As a breast cancer “thriver,” Nicolle advocates for proactive health and wellness practices. She is a trained Master Food Educator and a certified Community Health Worker.Rasheena Phinisee, a Temple University graduate and breast cancer “thriver”, is the creator of the Our Black Bodies podcast and Assiah’s Liver Fund, a nonprofit organization raising awareness about organ donation and transplantation in communities of color. Rasheena’s work has been featured on major networks and platforms.Kia Harris-Carr, breast cancer “thriver” and Founder of Beautiful Faces Foundation, is a passionate cancer advocate and expert speaker. Her foundation provides resources, financial assistance, referrals, and social support to those affected by cancer and domestic violence. With over 17 years of experience in healthcare, Kia is committed to affecting positive change. The panel discussion will be expertly moderated by Kia Harris-Carr, whose personal journey with breast and ovarian cancer inspired her to establish the Beautiful Faces Foundation.
