The event coincides with the esteemed Black Family Business Day during Black Business Month, an occasion of immense significance, celebrating the resilience and achievements of black-owned enterprises across the globe.

Although MQFactory Marketplace is open to all business owners and entrepreneurs, Black Business Month, observed throughout August, holds a profound significance in acknowledging the substantial contributions of black entrepreneurs to the economy and their communities. As a black owned business, MQFactory – Ricky Codio Studio aims to commemorate this occasion by showcasing and supporting small businesses that have stood tall in the face of challenges and have been pivotal in empowering communities.

MQFactory Marketplace is an opportunity for entrepreneurs and customers alike to come together and experience a vibrant array of products and services from various local businesses. The event will be a bustling hub of creativity, innovation, and collaboration, providing an unmatched platform for these ventures to gain exposure and expand their reach.

Hosted by media personality Cappuchino, the MQFactory Marketplace will be held at MQFactory – Ricky Codio Studio location at 126 Leverington Ave, Philadelphia PA 19127. This lively affair will have FREE photo shoot installations, where visitors can capture their moments. Additionally, to add a touch of magic to every snapshot, the MQFactory Marketplace exclusive Snapchat filter will be available. This Snapchat filter will elevate the memories captured during the event, making them even more special and shareable across social media platforms.

Snapchat, our esteemed sponsor, will also play an integral role in capturing the spirit of the day with their incredible snapshots. Ricky Codio is a Haitian-American visual artist and entrepreneur who specializes in portrait and wedding photography. Throughout his career, Ricky has mentored countless emerging photographers and entrepreneurs. Ricky formalized his mentorship through Assembly Line, an educational program for photographers of all levels.
As a master photographer, Ricky has owned and operated his flagship studio, The Mannequin Factory (MQFactory), a audio-visual production studio for creative professionals for over ten years.
